Our newly updated site is up and running at last!
Dear gig guide user,
Two years have passed by since the gig guide changed hands. To coincide with this, the Gig Guide has been redesigned with a new look and feel which we hope will meet your approval.
So, what's new?
No more clicking the small plus button for information. Click anywhere on a gig listing to see the full details in a new information window.
Customisation options help you get the gig guide layout that YOU want. Build your own gig guide, including colour schemes, font sizes and data displays. Click "Restore Default" to reset the guide to its original state
The Filter button allows you to select a specific county, or to search for a specific band, or bands. Clear the filters to see all counties and/or bands.
Facebook users can now "Like" events, thus letting their friends know which gig they may have in mind to attend. Further integrations may be possible if there is enough demand!
The DJ page now has a Location and a Travel Radius column. Of course, old entries do not have this information, so this will build up as new entries are submitted.
Entries on the Band or DJ pages will only kept for one calendar year from date of entry to tidy up defunct entries.
You can now contact us via Facebook if you wish to to comment or to ask questions about the website, or its features. Please note, however, that no gigs, or requests for amendments will be accepted via facebook.
The old site will be removed shortly, but will remain available for a short period while you gain familiarity with the new version. I hope that you like the new look site, and continue to use it for all your rockin' night out needs. Please take a few moments to read the help page where the changes are explained.
Thank you for your continuing support. See you at a gig soon!
- Dave
