All data now submitted now goes into a new database file that is intended to provide more information to the gig-goer, and for you to provide more information to them. All events (Regular, Special, or Weekender events are now catered for in the one entry form. A new viewing form will follow shortly. Please note the following guidelines for submitting your information.

 

1. Definitions : -

A Gig is an event normally 4 - 5 hours long with any number of bands playing.

Special Event - We define these as All-dayers, Weekenders, and Holidays.

An All-dayer is an event that takes place on one day, for more than 5 hours and usually features 4 or more bands.

A Weekender is an event spanning 2 or 3 days in duration.

A Holiday is an event spanning 4 or more days.

2. We do not host any images on this site, other than our sponsor's logos. If you enter a URL to your externally hosted flyer or website, we will check these before approving them. Any inappropriate links will result in your entire listing not being approved. We are providing this facility as an aid to the viewer. Abuse of this service will result in the facility being withdrawn.

3. Please don't bother typing everything in UPPER case. Our system will automatically convert your entry into "proper" case.

4. Unneccessary puncuation (e.g. ****Our Gig****) will be ignored. Please keep your submission in a format you would also like to read it in.

5. Band and DJ information is provided as a means to establish contact directly. We do not act as agents, nor do we make recommendations.

6. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that the details are correct BEFORE you submit the information for inclusion. We are not here to act as editors, nor to take the blame for YOUR inaccuracies. Please remember that people may use the address and postcode information for Sat-Nav systems.
